Predictive models that show what demand and cost will do next.

Info Insight builds machine learning models, simulations and AI-driven reporting for local authorities and housing associations — forecasting expenditure, predicting risk at case and property level, and turning complex data into a narrative that finance, members and regulators can act on.

What we do

Three capabilities, applied to the decisions that carry the most cost

Every engagement combines the same core methods. What changes is the question — how much will we spend, who is most at risk, and what happens if we change something.

Predictive modelling

Supervised machine learning on record‑level data to forecast expenditure and predict risk — which clients will need long‑term care, which properties will develop damp, which components will fail. Multiple algorithms are trained, validated and competed before the best performer is selected.

Simulation and scenario modelling

Stochastic and discrete‑event simulation for the parts of the system a regression cannot reach: new client starts, length of stay, bed occupancy, placement mix and bottlenecks in client flow — with assumptions your own analysts can adjust.

AI‑driven insight and reporting

Automated performance reporting that reads complex financial and operational data and returns a clear written narrative: what changed, where the pressure is building, and what warrants attention — in plain English, ready for a committee paper, or published as an interactive JSNA website that refreshes from national sources.

What the work actually looks like

Worked examples, produced on synthetic or published data, showing the format and type of insight each model returns. Full versions are available to download.

How we work

Your environment, your data, your code at the end of it

Info Insight works inside the client's own cloud tenancy — typically Microsoft Fabric or an equivalent. Sensitive record‑level data never leaves the organisation, and everything built transfers to your team on completion.

Scope and data

Agree the question, the decision it supports and the minimum data needed. Source data is pseudonymised and record‑level, usually across five or more financial years.

Build in your tenancy

Models are developed in a client‑provisioned workspace with version control and experiment tracking. No data is copied out; no sub‑contractors are used.

Validate and hand over

Documented notebooks, a written methodology, a retraining runbook and a walkthrough session, so your analysts can rerun the model without us.

Refresh and support

Optional quarterly retrains on the latest completed period, producing a refreshed forecast that firms up as in‑year actuals arrive.

Why Info Insight

Specialist enough to be useful, small enough to be accountable

Work is delivered personally by Ryszard Sekula, Managing Director, over secure encrypted connections, in full compliance with applicable data protection legislation. There is no account layer, no offshore delivery team and no dependency on us after handover.

  • No data leaves your organisation. Everything is built inside your own cloud environment.
  • Full technology transfer. Python notebooks, scripts and model artefacts are yours, in your Git repository.
  • Methods explained, not hidden. Advanced analytics are described in terms your team and your auditors can follow.
  • Hands‑on training. Your analysts are taught the models and the simulation methods behind them.
  • Fixed‑price packages. Scope, timeline and price agreed up front.

Have a forecasting or risk question you cannot answer from last year's outturn?

Tell us the decision you are trying to make and the data you hold. We will tell you honestly whether a model would help, and what it would take to build one.
